Hawai’i County Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP)

Please set aside at least 30 minutes to complete the online application and have all supporting documentation ready to upload. Please call 808-298-5566 or e-mail erap2@hceoc.net if you have questions or need further assistance.

Due to the overwhelming response to ERAP2, only applications that meet the criteria for a priority household will be processed.  Applications will take longer than anticipated to process.

If one of the following criteria apply to your household, we encourage you to submit your application.

1. You have received an eviction notice and need to pay rent arrears to remain in current housing.
2. You need to pay rent arrears to remain in current housing, but have not received an eviction notice yet.
3. You are experiencing homelessness and have obtained a signed lease/rental agreement.

You will be required to submit proof of hardship once your application is received.
